Revisiting Film Sets

As a warm-up exercise to the fundamental principles of photogrammetry and point cloud manipulation, students reconstructed famous film sets throughout cinematic history. Using video screengrabs as their data input, students learned digitally reconstruct these sets in 3D, and re-film the scene using the same camera paths as the original.
